Few months back I received a "Save The Date" email from a new event called "Beauty2".
Since the birth of Grey & Hues this was my very first event as a Beauty/Lifestyle Blogger so the opportunity was greatly appreciated.
Trying products that may or may not have any mainstream attention is something I love and also apart of my job.
Many people gravitate to popular brands mainly due to social media and longevity.
However there are a wide range of companies that have the same quality if not better locally or within the USA.
Attending this event helped shine light on small businesses with luxurious quality at a reasonable price.
The venues atmosphere was modern and chic, high ceiling, white walls and floors with stainless steel accents. You were greeted by someone at the entry confirming your RSVP by name and business.
Large windows created an impeccable natural lighting that enhanced the product and displays perfectly.
The most memorable moments for me was the intimacy and how each company was represented by it's founder.
Explaining exactly why they created the company along with every ingredient inside the products. Which made the experience personal and hands on giving me a better understanding of why they started.
Talking with some of these companies really left an impression mainly due to the passion they have for natural beauty while remaining environmentally conscious.
Some created their company solely based on them being a mother and wife with not enough time for themselves. Other's started for personal illnesses that prohibited them from using other brands due to chemicals.
For the most part they all acknowledge some sort of awareness I say this because most of these companies are eco-friendly, planet based, gluten free & vegan.
In my opinion brands should become a little more aware of the long term affects that some of these products cause. Or educate themselves on organic and natural ingredients that has historically been around for decades.
Majority of these secret gems could be used both internal and external which overall is a win win.
As the world is changing I do believe it is a undeniable market for each and every product.
Although it may take some time for people to adjust, a large percent has fully opened up to the idea.
Either way these products are absolutely worth a try!

Beauty2's first event has truly succeeded beyond my expectations and I can't wait for the next one!
